Birmingham 2008: Hall of Fame

It was a terrific weekend at Birmingham - thanks to everyone who came to see us. I got lots of interesting stuff to draw, and better still, everyone was really helpful about supplying picture reference when I wasn't drawing my own characters! Hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did!

Nearly everyone who got a sketch from me at Birmingham... click on the pictures to go the full-sized versions on Flickr.

I asked permission to Blog these, but if you'd rather your picture was taken down, just let me know and I'll remove it.

I've titled the photos based on names (if I know them or can read them from the dedications) or, failing that, the subject of the sketch. If you spot an error, leave a comment of the photo page on Flickr and I'll sort it out.

Hi Matt,
It was cool to chat with you, Ta for the sketch, your sage advice and valuable time.

I'm totally happy for you to have the sketch up and have posted a link to you too - let me know if you'd like me to e-mail a hi-res of the sketch!

All the best,
Kev

Hey Matt,

It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and get my Maj Robert Autumn sketch.

As it happens the chap who recommended that I read Scarlet Traces is the one who has so thoroughly annotated the series!

Look forward to my next D'Israeli sketch :o)

Thanks very much for the Dennis The Menace sketch you did for Molly. Your fears weren't realised - she loved it!
