Ian tells me he's sighted copies of the Scarlet Traces: The Great Game collection out in the wild. Pity they couldn't have arrived in time for Bristol...
I bought this just today, and it's great! One of these days I'll need to get a copy of your War of the Worlds adaptation, as well, to go along with the Scarlet Traces books.
One thought about The Great Game: I really enjoyed the historical references found throughout the book, but I have a feeling that I only grasped a fraction of them. This book seems really deserving of some annotation. Whether you and/or Ian would have the time for that, I don't know, but I love that kind of thing.
Actually there is an amateur annotation page at http://scarlettracesannotations.googlepages.com/home
It cover most of the historical and fictional references that are made, and invites you to e-mail any more you've found. FYI D'Israeli and Edgington are dudes.
